I'm not sure it's that easy to lie about a big figure like rent, they requested my tenancy agreement in the first place and to see it highlighted on my bank statement as a regular outgoing.

What I used to do with Christmas and Birthdays (and still do) are online surveys to earn vouchers and these fund everything for me. I have found an app called receipt hog where I get awarded points for taking photos of receipts. I think of it as money for nothing. Once a week I photograph my receip...

When I set up my IVA, I had a letter saying I could earn up to a particular figure each month, I recently got 3months pay arrears which was still below the figure on the letter, so I didn't report it. Mind you I had a crap pay rise. Some of the comments I have seen before indicate that overall month...

It took a few months on mine. Application process started this time last year, approved by November, it was probably March before everything settled and the defaults stopped as all creditors were aware. I think First Direct were the last. Some of my accounts have been passed on to debt recovery comp...

Hahaha!! I did have a horrible headache today, but don't think it was the amaretto, although I probably did drink more than one measure. I'm too poor to have luxuries like owning a measuring tool (my excuse and I am sticking to it!)

I realised today, it's a year since I made an emergency dash to work on a Saturday morning with my new bank details as it was the last day to change payroll info and my co-op card had just turned up. I was getting ready to start my IVA, awaiting my callback from Stepchange to gather all the addition...

My figures were £32k and paying £275. I am with Stepchange, although I know folks suggest independent IPs, they were the first beacon when I was desperate and a name I had heard of, which was why I went to them. They asked me to show evidence that I was making the minimum payment I could into my pen...

Great news! I will always remember crying when I was explaining my spending on the cat and that it covered his insurance, food and cat litter. At that moment, I realised I spent more on him than I imagined and I always prioritised his food over mine (he has a grain free diet, otherwise I need a lot ...

Been onto both Google pay and my bank and neither of them have any record of it! Maybe there is such a thing as a free lunch after all, but will keep the money there just in case for a while longer. I recall asking in there a week later, in case there had been IT issues on the day, often the telepho...

The problem with Google Pay is that the recipient has to claim on those funds, there doesn't seem to be any time frame that I can find that would then deem the transaction 'gone'. If it is only a small amount then you may just be able to absorb it on a monthly basis, if a big sum then safe bet woul...

I assume that you received what you had paid for and had no demands for further payment. The problem with things like GooglePay and even debit card transactions is that they cannot be processed at the bank until the retailer passes the request to the bank and not all retailers are actually connecte...

This is loosely IVA related, but also not. Hoped someone in here might have an idea as not finding much on Google. This is more an a monthly annoyance at present. I made a payment using Google pay, which is linked to my bankcard in April which showed as successful, but due to the tight reign I have ...

Some companies take longer than others. Stepchange called me at 10.10am for my meeting which had been booked for 10.10am. Shame your company haven't given you a courtesy call in the interim. I would probably call them.
