You should sign it as PPI still belongs to your creditors. Once you do that they will be off your back. It won't affect your credit record

You should be ok - most of us did a savings account whilst in an IVA. As long as it doesn't amass into a large amount it's good to have something to fall back on in an emergency.

Don't class it as a settlement as that means you have to pay off your total debt not your IVA balance. You will remain on the Insolvency Register for up to three months after you finish. Debt management is nothing to do with the courts. It is an informal agreement. You may find that interest is frozen but it's not always a done deal.

As Foggy says - if you sell then any equity will be payable to your IVA. Your credit record will still be shot even if you can finish early. It can increase depending on your circumstances and you will have a review every year to see if your income has increased. If everything remains the same your payments will not increase.

If you own your own house you will have to try and release equity towards the end of the term (if there is any).
