My employer still does this with my pension - all I do is pay it across to a savings account until it is due and then pay it across to my normal account.

I agree that it is probably classed the same as PPI and as such I personally think it is due to your creditors.

Hi,

You will be in an interlocking IVA. Chances are you will continue on for a further 12 months as you are unlikely to be able to remortgage. You will never pay back more than your original debt plus fees and possible statutory interest.

You can always get them to blank out totals and just leave the sum they are providing. Make sure your IP knows it is only available for your offer and will be withdrawn if not accepted.

Hi,

Once in an IVA, your credit rating will be shot for six years regardless, even if you manage to pay off all if your creditors. You will have a restriction on any sales which is registered at the Land Registry and would need your IP's permission to sell.

How long have you lived in France? I believe if you have not been out of the UK for more than 3 years, you can set up an IVA but do speak to a few companies for some advice.

Never had an overdraft with either bank I use and don't want one. Do agree with the others that it should not cause a problem. Shouldn't make any difference if you swap salary etc to your other account.

Also not a good idea to contact your creditors - debts may well have been sold on and it could mean failure of your IVA which could lead to interest and charges being added on.

You also tell them you want any monthly payments deducted from your offer. I will also say that even if you settle early, your IVA will remain on your credit record for the full six years.
