Unfortunately the money will belong to your creditors as it is an asset. If you managed to pay off your debts in full plus fees when your IVA finished, you should be able to retain some of the money.

Joe Public wouldn't know where to look and if your credit rating is ok you have nothing to worry about. Just ignore them. If you get another one (I've had 2 so far) just return to sender and they have to pay the postage.

I doubt it will be automatic - your IVA will have to fail first.

You can always ask your company to withdraw your offer of variation.
