Hi All. I am so happy. I have received my completion certificate today.. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum for your support, help and advice. It has been a long hard slog and at times I felt I was never going to get to the end. Especially when my original finish date was 2013,...

Hi All

I have just completed my Iva. Could I just ask. When I lost my house, I had an unsecured loan on it. This then was added to my iva in 2015.

It is still showing on my credit report as in default. When will this actually drop off my credit file. It was taken out in 2006.

Thanks

Hi All I have received a letter from aperture today, I had a creditors meeting last Wednesday. Good news.

Creditors accepted the payments to date as full and final.. That's it no more payments

I was told that they had to wait 28 after the creditors meeting to start closing the iva.. Is this normal?

I am so. Relieved. Early Christmas present for me.

Thanks everyone x

Thanks Foggy

I just need some closure after all this time, they took my mobile and said they would contact me to let me know the outcome. Why do they do this. As if you don't have enough worry about what's happening to not contact you is dreadful.

Sorry, I don't want to put anyone off entering into an iva, my case is a very difficult one.. I have had loads of bad luck to be honest. Coming out of work partner being made redundant, losing my home.. Please think twice about secured loans it cost me dearly and is affecting the closure of my iva.....

Thats a very long time tohave it hanging over you. Hope it is accepted in december. I often wonder that. I have had loads of ups and downs. Ch...

Was the original dividend just an estimate or did you promise a minimum dividend as part of your proposals? If the dividend was an estimate then it seems odd that the IVA would fail just because the end dividend will be lower than was originally estimated - this happens all the time in IVAs. It sou...
