As far a I am aware, Sophie, if the money is saved from your allowances by cutting back here and there, or there are no demands on the contingency fund, it is yours and will not be claimed for the IVA. From what I gather, Karin, yes, you transfer money online from one account to the other. But one of the questions they asked in the application was if your were going to make the initial deposit by transfer, cheque or cash, so I am guessing that we will be able to pay directly into the account as we...

550 pm x 60 payments = 33,000. Sounds odd on a total debt of around 28K.

Was the 28K the dividend the proposal said was to be paid, as opposed to the outstanding money owed to your creditors ?
