hi, got discharged from bankruptcy at the mid of April 19. trying to find out what will be the procedure of filing self assessment, I was allowed to continue business as a self employed and still running, so what year actually will be paper SA return year, is it 2018 and 19? already filed 2017-18 online before filing bankruptcy.
so tax year will start from 15th April 18 to 5th April 19? as of bankruptcy order started 15th April 2018.
anyone please advise, so it will be easy for me to follow right way to do SA.
This forum is always very helpful, regards

I'm afraid I can't advise - hopefully one of our other experts will be along tomorrow.

The returns still need to be filed in the normal way but HMRC will claim in the Bankruptcy for any taxes due for the tax year ended April 2019.
