I'd give them a ring.

ITS BEEN ACCEPTED!!! I can literally feel the weight lift from my shoulders! I’ve had tears and so many smiles. I’ve felt so held back in life and unable to do so many things, now I feel like It’s my time for a fresh start!!

Thank you for your kind messages and advice! I wouldn’t have took this step if it wasn’t for the advice on this forum!!! Now to visit the grandparents with the good news! 😊 x

Thank you! It still hasn’t sunk in! 😊Feel like I’m starting fresh after years of depression and heartache!!

Just a question? I’ve paid the money across to CF who have emailed today to confirm it has been received. They have noted the closure/completion process may take between 3 to 6 months! From any of your experience is this usually the case? My IVA hasn’t got any PPI or equity bits to it so would say it’s not too complicated. So I’m hoping this will not be too long to get the certificate.

Thanks for your help! 😊

Unfortunately it can take up to six months. I believe CF are one of the quicker ones. Don't forget it will remain on your credit record for six years from the start.

As Kallis says, CF are one of the faster firms at producing the completion certificates, so hopefully it will not be too long a wait. Be great if it arrived before Christmas !

Your right foggy! Would be lovely Christmas present! 😊👍🏼

I understand the credit file bit as unfortunately that will stay for another 4 years 😔 so will be renting for a few years I imagine as mortgages won’t be something I’m going to be able to obtain! but I did some admin and sent letters to creditors asking them to correct my default dates to the start of my IVA. So hopefully that will ensure they drop off at the right time. As some didn’t default until last year!!! So I’m glad I saw something about requesting the change in dates! 😊

Thanks for your reassurance as always guys! 👍🏼 This forum is so helpful when you need it!!
