PPI would be the same as an IVA as it is always paid to your creditors.

If you have your completion then your IVA is finished - just let them get on with claiming PPI - your records should be clear.

As Kallis says if the Completion Certificate has been issued then the IVA has finished - PPI is a totally separate issue and doesn't stop you from moving on with your life and obtaining mortgages, credit, etc.

As has been said --- PPI is another issue, apart from the IVA and only hangs in their because it existed (or potentially existed) during the IVA and is therefore captured by it. All it means is that any PPI refund belongs to your creditors still and not to you.

According to the ombudsman you will no longer be able to lodge new claims for refunds for PPI. Ongoing claims will carry on until finalised. There will, of course, be a new income stream coming on line in claims for the miss-selling of all sorts of other financial products.

Glad this has been mentioned......
Will companies get back in touch with people whos IVAs are completed and want to chase the misselling of these other products?
Should we all be expecting letters to chase this new line of income even when iva complete and Ppi claimed?
Seems alit of work to chase everyone whos ever had an IVA!

AKA medical claims, car accidents, mortgage, delayed flights, holiday insurance claims. The list is endless.

Apparently some mortgages had interest applied incorrectly and, of course, there could be miss-sold endowment policies. Remember though, that only that portion of any miss-selling claims up to the end of the IVA can be included --- anything after that is yours. So scrutinize any refunds they get.
