Should I pay my IVA off?

I have been in an iva for 4 years my payments started at 184 and have gone up over the years paying 310 now I have 29 months left carnt wait to pay it off am I in a position to pay it off in full now at a reasonable price or should I wait another 12 months thanks

At the moment a full and final offer would be based around £9k (assuming you are not a homeowner, or the potential extra 12 months has been included in your figure of 29 remaining payments). Which you could, maybe, reduce to £8k, as you will be saving them a couple of years messing about.

Whether an offer will be looked at also depends on the source of the funds used to make the payment --- these usually have to come from a third party as, if you have £9k yourself, there is a chance that it should have been paid into the IVA anyway. Your provider will want to see evidence of the money (bank statements etc.) as well as proof of I.D. of the donor.
