Hi,
I have had an IVA and fully paid up some years ago. I have been awarded some amount of PPI . This is being sent to my IVA practitioners. Is this correct? Or am i entitled to this? The company issuing the cheque have said that if I have a cert of completion, I can have the cheque sent to me, is this correct? Thanking you in anticipation.

It is correct that PPI refunds belong to former creditors, even if the IVA has completed. Normally the issuing creditor requires a letter of non-interest from the former IP ( not the completion certificate). As things stand at the moment, even if they issue the cheque to you, you are supposed to pass it on to your former IP. It might be the case that the IP sends the refund back to you, but this is very rare
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
