My partner had an iva that ran from 2007 to 2012. He was told that at the end of the iva he would be debt free. Now 7 years on he has claimed ppi on a mortgage he had but the money was paid to aperture solutions. His iva was with debtfree direct. He never missed a payment during the iva. Surely it can't be right that 7years after the iva has finished this has happened.

I am afraid that a recent court ruling has decided that PPI and similar refunds are still payable to the former creditors, being an asset that existed, albeit not known about at the time, during the IVA.

It has gone to Aperture as they bought DFD's caseload.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
