hi i am currently in an iva.After 14 months since start i am rally struggling.the fund managers seem unhelpful at best.I thought the fund managers were on my side to a point?? I would like to ask if there are any other options,as iva not promised land as led to believe. Thankyou.

Hi Martin, I'm 14 months too and finding it difficult to adjust. The promised land is 46 months away...until then we've just got to get through each month.

I'm guessing you've just had your first annual review, did your IP accept your real expenditure or are they trying to fit you to the trigger figures? Or have your changed circumstances not been accepted?

I've found my firm to be pretty inflexible on two occasions at and this has caused more hardship than necessary. Once I was evicted and my rent went up by £100pm and they wouldn't reduce my payments...that hurt a bit and still does!

Everyone is in the same boat here and make a great support network.
