I have been in an IVA for the last six months, however I have now become homeless.

I am still working and keen to keep my IVA going whilst I looking for somwwhere new to live. which could take a while as I need to save for a deposit etc.

What happens in this instance?

First thing is to inform your IP and see if a payment break can be offered to allow for your deposit to be gathered.

Hopefully this will be granted !

As Luluj says, keep the IP in the loop ( you are obliged to give him your current address, even if it is a mate's sofa). A payment break ( which will be tacked back on at the end of the IVA ) could help you raise a deposit.
If you use an agency, ask them about the IVA first, as it will come up on their search (which you, generally, have to pay for). Otherwise try to find a shared house or some such from a private landlord as not many of them credit search.

Have you tried your local housing association/council for accommodation?
