I always go red in patches - usually around the edge of my clothing! I must admit to sitting out in the sun whenever I can, just to get a bit of colour!

I had freckles on my face as a kid, but they are long gone. I keep hoping that the ones that appear on my arms will join up and turn me brown![:D]

My hubby and my daughter turn a nice shade of brown. I'm always jealous.

I use factor 50 as I've always used it on my Daughter and now my grandchildren and saves buying two lots. Works for me x

We use high factor suncream as a norm. My younger sister has an extreme allergy to the sun. She would love to be able to sit out in the sunshine, but sadly its not an option for her.

My sister is so brave, she has to totally cover up from the sun. She uses special make up, creams, bath salts etc...yet she never complains!

I do use suncream, but will always move into the shade after a while. The worst thing for me is my feet - they have been burned a few times so I always cover them up with a towel now.

Sorry about your sister Julie. Must be awful.

Oh please don't feel sorry for my sister, she'd kill me [:D]

Its something she, from the age of 9 yrs old and us (her siblings) have learnt to live with, no big deal. My Mum made sure my sister wouldn't miss any of her childhood and we just adapted to make it happen.

There's another case in britain that suffers from the same disorder and was well publicised....thankfully, my Mum made sure my sister had a "normal" childhood.

My sister is happily married and has 3 children..full credit to my Mum I say!
