My creditors meeting has been postponed until tomorrow because not enough creditors voted on Tuesday. Long story short, I can’t log in to my MBNA account or my Fluid online account and my Barclaycard has been removed from my ‘Apple wallet’ automatically. Is this generally a good thing or should I not get my hopes up? Thanks in advance!

I would try and remain optimistic.

Do you know how many creditors voted ? S
And of those that voted, how they voted for or against?
You need 75% of those that vote to say yes for your iva to be approved - if sounds like you possibly have not achieved this which is why your IP has paused your meeting in order to encourage more votes in. It happens alot, so stay positive!

Yes only shop direct voted which was a no so my IP said she needed Barclaycard and mbna to vote yes in order for me to be successful. I’m just trying to look for a little glimmer of hope as the wait is killing me. Fingers crossed I get an answer today though.

Hi,

Good luck today. MBNA removed my credit card from the app prior to my creditors meeting and voted yes to my proposal. It's such an anxious time but take heart that my proposal was accepted with one modification and had a low dividend of 16p/£.

That’s given me some hope 😂 I just hope Barclaycard say yes as well 🤞🏻 it’s an awful time isn’t it! It was my sons 1st birthday the other day and I feel so awful because I was so nervous about this that we didn’t do much for it. But we’re having a tea party tomorrow for him and I so hope I can be in a better mood for him!

Family is far more important than our financial affairs. Life will continue to move on regardless. Treasure your time with your family while they are so young. I'm sure your finances will be sorted one way or another allowing you to focus on all those special moments
