my IVA has been paid off, and is currently sat with the closures team at Creditfix. I need to get it removed from the land register as i have sold my house, but they said it can take 3-6 months to come off. is there anything I can do to expedite the process?

You can request it and give them the reasons to have the marker removed but I'm afraid closures are taking up to six months at the moment.

You could argue that you have complied with the equity release provisions in the agreement and they are, therefore, done and dusted. In which case there is no longer any need for the restriction on your property and it could be lifted without affecting the rest of the closure process.
