Hi All,a pal of mine wants to start the IVA process. However she is out of work and won't start her new job until July. Can she apply as as soon as she starts this new job?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Once she starts work she can apply for an IVA.

I recommend that she takes advice now. Visit www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews. Give one or two a ring and she will receive free and impartial advice as to all the options open to her.

Personally I would start the process now as it can take a couple of months to obtain all of the necessary information and verifications. Presumably there is an offer letter which provides details of the future salary?
