Hi there I'm a former iva person. Brent over for a few years now. I heard that the first company I spoke to has been shut down for bad reasons. I was put on to them by former iva person Andy davie who has seemed to have disappeared. I started off with Vincent bond and finished with bridgestones. My concern's are that I was still getting nasty letters from debt company's say I still owe x amount. I'm unable to locate the final letter saying I've completed the iva. Would I still be on the insolvency list? As I'm not there.

You need to try to find your completion notice and final report to send copies to these companies. If you are no longer on the Insolvency Register that means they were issued .... maybe the Insolvency Service have kept copies.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

If your IVA finished a few years ago and the debt was included then presumably it would be statute barred anyway so even if you cannot get hold of your completion certificate there is nothing they can actually do.
