I don't mind Travel Lodge or Premier Inn for one or 2 nights. Dave's grandson is being christened next year and we tried to find one to stay at but no luck so we'll drive down and back - it's not a long drive so it's not a problem. I begrudge spending the money for a christening to be honest!

Lesley, that was meant as joke! You haven't upset me at all! It's always been a sort of (sick literally!) joke that Dave and I don't know anyone who's been to Turkey without being ill. I've got a phobia of being sick, so that's why I'd never go there!

I didn't think she was, but just wondered as she has paid for you and you had mentioned her.

I know a few people who have been to Turkey and not been ill.

Skip - you could never have my operation if you have a phobia about being sick![:D]

I know Jan! How I managed to cope when Dave was ill I don't know! I'm not as bad as I used to be, but some things still worry me. I've told Dave that I don't want to eat sandwiches at the 'do' after the christening as I won't know how long they've been out!

When I ate pudding, I loved bread and butter pudding, and bread pudding!

My youngest has a phobia of sick, the word and the action, she couldn't read this without running out of the room. I had to fetch her home from school (junior) if anyone was ill. I think it stems and I believe this from when she was a baby and had pyloric stenosis and I know that she was only up to 12 weeks old before her op but her first 3 months were being sick!

Mind it has its advantages, she won't drink alcohol, well not too much for fear of being ill the next day and at nearly 17 that's at least one bonus. x

Doin ok.

Day 16 £192 saved.

Still want a fag though, and at times I have 'come close'.

It certainly as of yet isnt gettin any easier, but I am told those days are not far away. I look forward to not thinking about having a fag constantly!

As for the money, I really have put the £12 a day in a big bottle. As for what I'm saving for, I don't know, but just seeing it mount up is nice. Maybe it will be a deposit for my nice new motor when my credit rating is satisfactory enough to get one.
Best Wishes,
Tina x
