i recceved a letter on 24 april 2020 DFD voluntary arrangement { IVA} surplus balance i wont pass on my bank details on so can i recieve this surplus balance by cheque

I take it this is from Aperture ? They have been sending a few of these out lately. Not sure if anyone has actually been paid !

Not sure about insisting on a given method of payment. Indeed, in this day and age, they might not even have a cheque book facility !

You could ask, the worst they could say is no.

That said, I would bear in mind most IVA company's staff are working from home due to Covid and may not have the means to send cheques whilst working remotely.

Jut a thought - did you pay your IVA via DD/SO? If so they would already have your bank details.

They should still have your details depending on when your IVA completed

i think they keep it on file for 7 yrs but am not sure :D :D :D

IVA Trusts is a division of Aperture -- nothing to do with us. Ring them again and ask for the contact details. Or use the contact details on the letter they sent you.
