finished my IVA about 5 years ago but am trying for a remortgage and they are asking for a completion certificate which I have mislaid somewhere, how can I prove that it was completed? I am not on the insolvency register anymore, is this suffice. My IVA was through aperture but try getting them to answer. Thanks

I am not on the insolvency register anymore

Not being on the register is not proof that the IVA ended successfully -- it might have been terminated.
You need to persist with Aperture. Alternatively -- and this is a long shot -- ask the Insolvency Service if they have retained a copy.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Aperture are your best hope for a copy ....
By chance it wasn't emailed to you in the first instance? I found mine on my email search going back to 2011 ...saved it several times over now

Not all Lenders that we use would require a copy of the Completion Certificate and we have certainly managed to complete on many re-mortgages for Clients without having to supply the Certificate so there may be other options available to you.
