Tax credit received - do I need to give it to my iva

i have just received £2000 from tax credits after updating my claim ( due to my salary reduction this financial year)
do I need to give this money to my iva?

This will depend upon whether, among other things, your IVA payment was reduced to accomodate the income reduction. If the IVA payment remained based on the former income, which this tax credit, basically, makes up to what it should have been, then I would say you could argue it is yours. It also depends on the viewpoint of your own IP as there is a lot of discretion built into IVA's, for the IP.
