Hi all, hope that you are all ok and life is treating you well, shame about the weather but we do need the rain. I have been notified that i am inline for a very small tax rebate to the tune of £60, my windfall clause states anything under £500 i can keep, so does this qualify or should i inform my IP?

You can mention it, but I doubt you would be expected to hand over such a small amount.

When everyone had the tax rebate a couple of years ago I think we were all able to keep it.

I agree with the above,
If you think of it as a rebate from the previous year (obviously - silly me!) n divide it by 52 weeks - 1.15 a week.

Go n give yourself a treat or buy something you need x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

I think its safe to say the rebate is yours to do as you wish with, that said you may find that after 3 years of being frugal all you want to do is save it for a rainy day!!!

Paul

Enjoy your rebate.

Just goes to show what different standards we all live by.

£60 is a slap up meal at a posh place for me and her indoors!!![:D][:X]

No good me going out for a meal so I'd be hitting the shops!

£60 is a fortune to me! I'd have a takeaway for the family for less than £20 and get my hair coloured which it's desperate for. x

We're going to Conwyn for a weeks camping Julie so hopefully the sun will shine that week, however even if it doesn't it's a break away from all that is familiar.
