I might post pictures on here once IVA is completed, but not until!

Once I'm finished, I don't care who sees me on here. I'll keep it to myself until then (apart from FB)

Oooo its is like group therapy - Ive loved reading about everyone, so I will stick my pennies worth in!

A few of you know me through FB & have helped me through some of my rants on here with my personal & IVA life, So for those that dont:
Im Lynsey Im 32, married with 2 gorgeous little boys whom are 7 & 5. I was born & live in a seaside resort in North Yorkshire & love living by the sea.
My previous career was in tourism on the hospitality side & I loved my job/career, but it was a career that could not fit round children. I met my husband through the industry & watched him progress into a excellent Head Chef.
We ended up in debt, through some basic bad luck & making some wrong choices & once that debt ball is rolling its very difficult to stop it! (you all know what I mean!) We have nothing to show for our debt, no assets, just a rusting old car! I look at the amount of debt we created through just trying to get by & sometimes wish some of it had been blown on a holiday (I still have never been abroad).
I spend all my time looking after my elderly parents, whom live 2 doors away from me, My Mum has MS & various other health & mental health issues & its to much for my Dad to cope with.
I support my hubby whom is battling with Spinal Arthritis & Hematology problems - but still manages to get to work, mainly due to medication - without it he would not be able to get out of bed.
I have very little time to myself, that Ive forgotten my hobbies & interests! & Yes I know! To those that are shouting at me "Lyns Time"!!!!
I do find it rewarding being there for others & I often find Im the one friends n family come too. I just need to learn to look after myself once n a while. x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

An IVA.co.uk Mentor is someone sharing from their experiences of dealing with debt

Lyns x

Well as my forum name says, I'm Julie...some will know me as Swansgirl too [:)]

I'm 42 years young and have been blessed with the 2 most fantastic daughters in the world, 26yrs and 24 yrs. I also have 3 absolutley gorgeous grandaughters and yes I love my girlies to bits [:)]

I'm also a very lucky wife who gets all my meals cooked, but I do have to clean up afterwards. [:D] I'm Mum to 2 cats...a lovely lady and a naughty but nice boy cat...oh and I can't forget my baby boy Dobby ( nearly 16 months Doberman).

I'm lucky to live on the coast in a beautiful pary of South Wales and I work in HR, specialising in Employment Law.

Debt for us came about by hubby's "batchelor boy" spending before I got my claws into him [:D] We had a rough ride with an IVA and then BR, but now we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. All thanks to the friends I have made on this forum [:)]
