The Secure Trust account has many good points for those who wish to pay for banking. My own personal view is that free banking for consumers has a limited lifespan now, but while it is still available I agree there are better uses for the £12.50.

I find it really difficult having hubby's wages paid 4 weekly...he also never gets the same amount and it can differ by hundreds which also makes everything so much more 'fun' [:D]

A free bank account is always to be preferred to a paid one in my opinion.

Although our income doesn't differ by much, I don't have a problem coping with a normal bank account.
