hi. i have an IVA with aperture which we have been paying for 3 years. we have been trying to get hold of them to discuss a possible option of paying the IVA off sooner. the reason is that we have 2 cars that are coming to the end of their contracts at the end of 2019 and we cannot get finance on 2 more due to IVA. we have seen adverts for loans specifically for IVA, ie sprout loans, but not sure what to do next. is getting a loan to pay off the iva an option or is cash the only option to cover the car at the end

Getting a loan to pay off iva will not clear your credit files to allow for new car finance.

Your iva will remain on file until the 6th anniversary of the start to your iva.

There are specific lenders for car loans for those in iva such as money barn which you may want to consider

You may find it hard to continue car finance.

are you saying it would be difficult to continue with the option to continue to pay for the car after PCP finishes?
i thought that would be the case anyway hence the reason looking for another option.
it has not helped that Aperture never respond to emails or phone calls, so i am struggling to ask them for advice

Depends on what your finance company says about your PCP. You may be able to carry on but you need to keep pestering Aperture.

Financing any balloon payment, or purchase option at the end of a PCP is night on impossible in an IVA, as is re-financing a new vehicle.

Aperture do, or at least, did their own early exit loans --- but I am unconvinced that these were popular with debtors and creditors alike.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
