Hi, thanks for all your support so far. Thought I’d give you an update. 2 payments made, 58 to go. Still doesn’t seem real. I am still getting letters from the creditors. One today informing me that my debt has been sold on, and including a letter for me to send to my ip. Is this normal? Also NatWest have changed my bank to a foundation account. The safe one I got with them was a basic account with no od or anything, but it’s now changed.
I have also noticed that my council tax direct debit has been cancelled with my bank, and now that debt has been added to my list of creditors, yet my payment hasn’t changed? During the meeting I was told it was agreed that I should pay my council tax as normal due to having a lodger, as this could have an impact on him. I’m unsure as to what’s going on.
I’m also due to receive a payrise, not mega bucks but £35 a month backdated from April. I’m guessing this will get swallowed up by creditors.
I also have a promotion interview at work, I’m not 100% confident I will get the job and not sure it would be worth the hassle, as it’s only £150 a month more and a lot more stressful. Anyone think it’s worth me going for it? Would the money just be taken towards my debts?

If you have the 50/50 clause in your iva then they would more than likely take half of your pay rise from you of £75

Have a chat with your IP and also just send the letters on to them as well. It does sometimes take a while for things to filter down.

Not sure about the council tax. Things have changed since I had my IVA. Unless your lodger is down on the council tax it should have no impact on their credit rating.
