My iva ends in april 2018 , my iva company (vangaurd) say that because I have more thanb50k profit in my property I have to pay for another year whch I had come to terms with but now speaking to them again a different person said it could be even be another two years. This seems so unfair. I am 60 yrs old now and im struggling to work cos of bad health also with an iva on my record and my age my mortgage company have refused my request

If, as is usual, your proposal states 12 months in lieu of equity release, then 12 months it is -- they cannot make things up as they go along !

I had way more than £50k equity in my property but just had to do the extra year. Don't be bullied into something you don't agree with.
