All of their clients have been taken over by Aperture.

No, they haven't. The parent company, Fairpoint, are in administration. DFD has been bought as a going concern by Aperture.

Clarification from foggy - important point that DFD was sold as going concern - those in iva's with them will have the same protection / rights under Aperture so no need for any concern.

Yes that is correct - they entered Administration and the business was sold to Aperture.
