Hi Jos and welcome to the Forum.
Some firms do offer this type of insurance and some creditors do allow it. However, there are pitfalls and exclusions so you should be careful you are completely covered before you sign up to it.

One of the forum experts deals with this kind of insurance. His name is John Tegg and he can be found on the experts page under the name CoverItAll.

Are you in an IVA yet Jos, or just thinking of proposing one?

Thanks Jan. If any of my clients wanted to take out insurance cover without the cost of this affecting their IVA payments, I would definately recommend John Tegg.
