Hi oya, my creditors meeting is on 4th. Day after yours. Let's hope we both get good news.

Oya, I remember you saying you have stopped paying your creditors now. Had you already sent them the letters from step change offering small amounts? Just don't know if I should pay or not, step change have said to pay

I didnt send any letter i only made 1 reduced payments to creditors once received my creditors meeting date cancelled the standing order..i think you give stepchange a call tomorrow and confirm with them if its ok to stop payments.. just to be on the safe side :)

Stepchange will probably advise you to continue with the reduced payments, although the majority of us here stopped payments altogether and it made no difference.

Agree with Foggy - it will make no difference at all and will allow you to build up a bit of a contingency fund.

I only made 1 payment and stop paying that didnt made sence since they continued adding all the charges and calls and letters..

Don't worry - charges etc will cease once your IVA is agreed. Ignore calls - they haven't a clue what is happening.just a call centre.

Build the contigency up now ... you will really appreciate it come a few months in and something happens.

Yes I will stop all payments now. Being bombarded by creditors by making lower payments anyway. Actually got letter from step change today confirming my creditors meeting. Is April 4th at 10.30, least won't have whole day being stressed. They said to be available by phone in case creditors have any questions, what questions are these likely to be? (I guess not my favorite colour).

You mind creditors ask for modifications - these are usually to do with IP's fees. You'll need to be there for good news as well! :)
