Hi,

I completed an IVA over 12 months ago and my wife recently used an online site to recliam Egg credit card PPI (we had linked credit cards). Barclays have upheld the complaint but sent a letter saying payment of £4500 would go direct to IVA administrator. What will they do with the money? If they distribute it to debtors can I ask for proof that this has happened?

Thanks

Hi,

It will go to your creditors and I am sure you can ask them for proof.

Thanks, seems very unfair as the ppi contributed to my debts in a big way.

Unfortunately that's the way the cookie crumbles now.

As annoying as it might feel, fairness does not come into it and PPI is captured as an asset. Some IP's lose interest in PPI post completion. If you are lucky enough to have one of those they might send the cheque back to you.
