Creditor keeps coming to my door but I no longer have their goods.

Hi I am now in a iva vanguard and bright house are included but they keep comming to my door still how can I stop them a don't wanna ring them but I have sent emails I no longer have the goods I got because i had to sell them to clear other debts can you please help

Speak to your IP and tell them to speak to Brighthouse. Alternatively send a copy of your chairmans report to head office and threaten them with harrassment if they continue.

Brighthouse normally have hire purchase agreements so selling their goods could be a criminal offence. You need to speak with IP and find out how they were treated within the IVA as they may be able to report you to the police.

As mentioned above, the goods might not have been yours to sell --- was it HP or outright purchase ? Brighthouse normally do HP -- and are notoriously difficult as creditors if it was outright purchase.

Are you sure you are in an IVA and not a DMP?
