I have just found out that Experian credit report have a failed IVA against my name from 2001. I thought it would be removed after 6 years. I have no idea who the IP supervisor of this IVA is as I have forgotten and had no correspondence from them for many years. I want to buy a house and I need this rectifying before I can apply for a mortgage. Can you please advise.

Thank You

If they have marked it as failed and it is no longer on the Insolvency Register I would have thought it should be removed. There is a link on the websire for reporting errors --- do also check the other two agencies ( just in case) .

If your IVA failed, what happened to your debts?
