My IVA was taken out with Hanover. I paid the IVA off early last September, (I paid off in the first year luckily through a relative), but was told that it would take several months to receive a completion certificate. Nothing has arrived and now I'm worried that I may not get it because I paid early. I read that you can complain to your IVA practitioner, but what difference will that make as Hanover are my practitioners.

If you do not get satisfaction from your IP then you can complain to the Gateway and the regulators. All firms have a complaints procedure which you should follow so perhaps a complaint in writing might move things along.

Give them a call as it is nothing to do with early completion. May well be to do with PPI?

Most firms have 6 months closure allowance built in to terms but sounds like your IP has passed this unless they are still dealing with some assets.

Send them a written complaint by registered post and as Michael suggests you can then lodge a complaint with the Gateway here if necessary:

To extend the 6 months admin period they have to serve you Notice --- so are well outside their remit now.
