Guys did you just not pay your unsecured bills, or cancel direct debits? Just wondering, as iv noticed my old bank charges £15 a day for unauthorised overdrafts. Iv one due this friday and meeting isnt til next friday?

Or would they just not honour the direct debit?

Some banks will bounce it, some won't. Most of us, once we had decided the IVA route was for us, stopped all payments to unsecured creditors before the meeting.

I saved a couple of months payments, which made for a modest emergency fund ( which WAS used!) :-)

The IP must be pretty confident that it will be accepted. I cancelled all my direct debits before my creditors meeting and all was fine.

They will notice the missed payment within a few days.
