Morning all,

My iVA ends next week after 6 years. I've learned much along the way.

Once the final payment goes out, do I simply stop the standing order and wait for my certificate? or do I need to do anything else?

Thanks all

Hi Sean

Well done on almost completing.

Your IP might need to do a review of your I&E for the last year to check there are no bonuses/overtime etc to be dealt with.

Personally I would ask them to confirm the S/O can be cancelled first.

Thanks Lisa,

I have contacted them, but they can be slow in responding. I'm sure they told me that there were no more reviews to be done so hopefully I'm good!

They always work better with a prod now and again :-) Simply ask for confirmation that you can stop payments, an idea of when the CC might be issued and is there anything more they require from you to help speed the process up.

Thanks Foggy,

I'll give them until the next payment day to reply, then get on the phone. DD's are ok as they should stop collecting, but SO's just keep going out until I stop them so don't want to forget..... although that's unlikely!

Come nearer the time -- bear in mind ( at least this is how I think) -- it is easier to pay over a missed payment to your IP, than it is to get an overpayment back !

That's my thinking too!
