the 6 years has gone well overall. Yes, there were times I wondered if i'd made the right decision, but the alternative was worse. I was lucky that my employers allowed me to work from home a lot so I saved on travel costs which helped. I told the IP and it didn't affect my payments so that's good. The journey has taught me a lot, things I should have learned before I got to the IVA stage, but it is what it is, and now I'm perhaps in a position to offer my advice/experience to someone else, having lived it myself.
Just to update you, I had an email at 05:30 this morning from Creditfix and attached was my final report ( with advice to send to Experian & Equifax ) and my completion certificate attached - there's a hard copy in the mail. I probably won't frame the certificate and hang it in the hall....
So that's it. it seems I'm done. It feels a bit odd really.
