Do I have to pay the company who arranged the Iva?

Do I have to pay the company who arranged the Iva I was told at start it was a free service but I find this strange

It depends on which company you are with. Most 'introducers' will charge a fee for work done before sorting you out a company. If you go straight to an IP, fees are included in your monthly payments.

Which company is it?

They all charge fees, as agreed between them and the creditors. These fees come out of the monthly payments you make and are not "billed" seperately. A few firms will want upfront fees --- avoid these, most don't want anything apart from the normal agreed monthly payment.

They may have charged your IP an introducer fee, which would be disclosed in your IVA proposals.
