Received letter from creditor after f&f, saying that I owe them money

Hi, I have recently completed an iva with a full and final settlement and now I am recieing letters for a company called arrow global that say I now owe them as mbna have sold my debt to them but mbna have accepted my final settlement amount and I have my certificate , where do I stand legally as I shouldn't owe arrow money as this debt was included in my Iva and I have paid it off and mbna have accepted please can you help!

Just send them a copy of the certificate stating that it was included within the IVA that is now complete.

MBNA probably sold the debt on for pennies to get the debt of their books and Arrow is taking a gamble that they might be able to get something out of having bought the debt.

In your case they lost the gamble.

You don't owe them a penny! As Redboxtree says - send a copy of your completion letter. Also check your credit records to make sure they have not started defaulting you.

As above. Arrow would have bought an unexamined bundle of debts ( as a "lot" ) and are probably unaware of the IVA. They have no claim on you for anything.
