My partner cannot afford her loan repayments. Can she have a IVA with me?

Your partner can have one of her own, you can support hers or you can have an interlocking proposal. It all depends on your individual circumstances and perhaps an IVA is not even the way for her to go. Get some free advice from an insolvency firm.

I agree with Michael.

There is no such thing as a joint IVA but interlocking ones.

Whether or not an IVA is suitable for either of you will depend on an number of things, including your financial circumstances.

The best way forward depends upon a multitude of things and you really need to have an in depth discussion with a few providers to find that best way forward for both of you.
