Hi I was wondering if you could offer some advice.
I took out an IVA on the 13/12/2011 and made my last payment on the 1/12/2016.
For some reason I am still on the courts records. I also only got my completion certificate in June this was dated the 8/6/2017.
Since my last payment in December to end of May this year they had received another £2,000 fronts PPI claim.
Then on the 8/6/17 the same day I was awarded my completion certificate, I was awarded £6,000 from Barclay Card, again because my name was still on the courts record this has gone to the IVA company.
I telephoned the IVA company who said yes it has gone to them and they would look into wether I was entitled to any of this money. And yes I am still waiting for a reply.
What I can make out from my final report I have paid the IVA company £34,254.45 this has been due to several PPI pay outs during my IVA.
Now my original debt was £17,553.63 and they have paid my creditors 94.82pence in the pound.
What I am asking and need advice about is how long before my name should be removed from the courts and who does this e.g. IVA company or myself.
And what happens to this £6,000 awarded me from Barclay Card.
Apparently my supervisor fees where 15%.
I hope this makes sense and any advice would greatly be appropriated.
Many Thanks

I'm afraid it will remain on your credit record for six years from when you took it out. It should drop off in December this year.

Your name will come off the register three months after completion of the IVA so it should drop off at the end of this week.

The PPI money will enable your former supervisor to repay the creditors in full and after fees and costs the balance should come back to you. However if your proposal included statutory interest it is unlikely that you get any money back. You need to get some clarity from your IP as to final figures.

Regardless of the timimg the PPI refunds are due to the IVA until such time as you have paid over the full original debt, fees and probably statutory interest. If there is a surplus it will be returned to you. You come off the Register three months after the issue of the certificate, so that should happen soon.

when you refer to Court records do you mean the insolvency register or your credit rating?

You will drop off the register within 3 months of getting your certificate and can check this here:

http://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/

Your credit rating should start to drop off and be tidied up in December, after the 6 year mark has passed.
