I put all my details online in stepchange and it has came up to recommend bankruptcy but I really don't want to do that as I want to protect my house and car ???

Online calculators are only a guide and are often way off the mark as they cannot take into account all of a persons circumstances ... you need to have a chat.

So do u recommend just ringing step change then ?? Or what will I do to sort this

You can contact someone like Stepchange or you could contact a fee-paying debt management company. Alternatively you could contact the CAB and administer one yourself so it depends on what you think would be best.

I would give them a ring and have a chat --- I would also ring a couple of other firms to compare advice.

I understand how you feel but running away won't solve anything and we are all here for you.
