Remortgage advice - what form of evidence of applications/refusals is required to satisfy an IVA vendor that releasing the equity on a property is not a viable option for completion of an IVA?

Will I need to actually make appointments and visit banks/building societies or can the applications be done online?

No - speak to your mortgage company and get another company to give you a refusal.

Depends on who you are with -- some will accept screen grabs of online refusals, others will want refusals in writing ( not easy to get). A few will want their own broker to look into it for you.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

We have done letters for a few people off the Forum saying they aren't able to re-mortgage - if your IP says they would be happy with that as evidence please just get in touch.

It will entirely depend on which firm you are with but your Supervisor will probably want to be satisfied that you have made your best efforts to do so.
