Just in the process of starting an iva
How long does it take from agreeing to let them contact the creditors to being approved at meeting
I understand every company will be different but roughly

Once you have agreed the proposal and the figures they will give creditors a few weeks notice of the meeting.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It's more oer mess 2yrs to the day since I first made contact with stepchange, my creditor meeting was mid Nov, first payment was January. I have been living in my budget for 2yrs from October and I don't miss the stress I had been having around meeting debt repayments. There's been a few worries over that time with urgent vet help being needed and no room for luxuries, but overall life is so much easier and simpler.
