Finally we receive our completion certificate, such a relief.
So we originally started the IVA in August 2012, however only just received the cert. My question is:
How long will my debts be taken off my credit file?
Also, when I start applying for credit again, will it still show i’ve been in an IVA or not?
When I say start applying for credit again, I don’t mean to spend spend spend and build up like last time, I want it to increase my credit rate, as eventually I want a better rate on my mortgage. Do you think this is manageable after an iVa? Will we go into a ‘good’ credit file ever again after this?

Have a read here: ... dit-record. Aso have a peek at the last few entries on my blog, the link to which is at the bottom of this post.

Assuming that the defaults are dated correctly, they should have already gone and the IVA will drop off once the credit reference agencies are advised of the completion by the insolvency service. So, your credit record will look healthier very soon.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
