My husband is looking to buy a shared ownership house, after been a year free of his 5 year IVA.
Does anyone know if you can get a mortgage on shared ownership following an IVA please and any good mortgage providers for shared ownership please? We're live in Merseyside. Thank you Ange

Have a word with either Ryan or Shaun who are our resident mortgage experts. Details can be found under the experts link on the left hand side of the page - they may be able to help.

I know Ryan at Zebra Money has access to shared ownership mortgages for those with an IVA in their past. His contact details can be found here: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=18488
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It's certainly possible and, although there might be a little less choice, if everything else stacks up ok you should be fine.
