Virgin media etc. is not regarded as a credit account -- they are utilities ! Credit Fix have no control or say over them. Virgin are not creditors ( unless you are in arrears with the accounts). How has CF cancelled them ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Yeah I agree with Foggy.
Virgin would be a utility, an allowable expenditure which should have been entered into your monthly dpending allowance the same as wlectric, gas, water etc. You should have continued paying them and transferred your payment method to your new bank account.
Hope you can get it sorted out and reinstated.

It won't have been Creditfix that cancelled your Virgin services. By entering into an IVA, you've broken their terms and conditions, whether you listed them as a creditor or not, and even if you didn't owe them anything. Virgin will almost always cancel contracts of customers who are in an IVA.
.1. We and/or Virgin Media Payments may end this agreement immediately if:

1. you become insolvent or bankrupt, you enter into any arrangement with your creditors, or if any legal action is taken or threatened against your property;

Hi! I used to work for one of the UK's biggest Insolvency Practitioners - I don't work for an IP anymore but still have an extensive knowledge of the IVA industry. How can I help?

We have had Virgin TV and broadband for the whole duration of our IVA and never had any problem.
Listed it as an expenditure and altered the allowance when proce was increased and no issue ever raised by either Creditfix or Virgin themselves.

The specific line in the T's and C's may be a new thing, I'm not sure. That said, if they weren't on your own statement of affairs and you didn't owe them, your IP may not have listed them thus they may never have been aware.

If the IP for the OP has used a credit report to prepare a proposal; it's possible Virgin have learnt of the IVA inadvertently. In any case, the virgin terms are the most likely culprit here rather than CF.

Many providers have insolvency clauses in their terms, but, as long as the accounts are serviced correctly, not many seem to act on them. Had this been any other firm than CF, I would have tended towards your explanation, WallE, but CF do have something of a reputation for trying to do things their own way, with, sometimes, disasterous results. I cannot recall other instances where Virgin have arbitrarily 'pulled the plug'. But, until and unless we get to hear the full story, it will all be guesswork on our parts.
