I started an Iva in 2008 I paid all what I was supposed to and they also kept 4000 Ppi. I got £200 pound back from that. I was actually still in the Iva then: i finished the Iva in 2014. It has come to light that 20636 pound has been sent to aperture they said I would hear by end of July and should get some back but I haven’t heard anything and when
I ring I never come off the phone satisfied surely they wouldn’t be able to keep all that money

Aperture generally allow you to keep the interest element of any refund, although I have not heard from anybody who has actually been refunded --- maybe that £200 was the interest on the first PPI refund.

They will have to account to you for the money -- what it consisted of and where it went. Keep chasing, maybe escal;ate to a formal complaint and then a complaint to their regulatory body.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
